Got my amp & stealthbox installed. Amp is under the drivers seat.
nice! Im thinking about this... how much did it cost you done and done? What about the HU? Are you running a stock head unit? If I did this, I would def. want to keep the stock HU...

Nah, it was the fist shaking "Slow down!" and "Damn kids!" kind of looks I'd get rolling through my neighbourhood at 10mph while keeping the exhaust quiet in 3rd gear or being tailed by the local po-po that pushed me over the edge.maybe they were just staring at the car. i get that alot when i drive mine. didn't even notice people would stare til my uncle asked how come everyone stares at me on the highway(uhm) (and i only go speed limit so i know its not cus i did something stupid but they always stare as they pass me). i told him cus its a damn sexy car

Thanks a bunch man, its taken some time to get it where its currently at. Im unsure what to do about the coolant res. All the aftermarket ones arent too appealing to me, so ive been on the fence about what to do with it.

haha yea thats why i don't know if i want to get a cbe. stock is loud enough. i might just stick to a downpipe and that would be it for exhaust system
I took a local popo for a ride in mine, he loved it. Then I took his MKII MR2 turbo for a spin! (drive2)

Took off my Nano and gave it a thorough cleaning and polishing. Looks brand new now. And swiped my finger in and inspected the inlet. No oily PCV residue like I see on some others' cars. I'm lucky I guess? Well, with 12,000 miles (maybe 8,500 with the SRI/TIP) that's kind of what I expected.

Yes I kept the stock hu, I replaced my front speakers with the Infinty kappa comps listed in my sig. I got the box in a group buy on the forum we dont talk about for $90. The amp and sub were around $200 from http://www.sonicelectronix.com. I installed the kappa's myself, but had a local shop do the amp & sub for $174.00.

how did you get authorization? they didnt do the 5w40 BS?
BTW 2010 now has more problems than we do. 2 members on MSF have fallen victims

Actually, I did the 5W40 thing last year on my own. This is my 2nd visit for this problem, which could not be reproduced the 1st time. I brought pictures and a copy of the TSB on the 1st visit. I believe there was a leak in the oil line at the bottom of the turbo.
Mazda should use quality twin scroll turbos. There are some items that you can't 'cheap out' on and a turbo is one of them.
