I Need Some Lowered Suspension Pics!!!

well dont know what to tell you guys, ive scraped twice since ive had the car slammed
one was because i couldnt take an angle and i dont even remember the other one,
its all about how u drive, if u look in the slammed thread there are people like an inch off the ground with no scrape marks

Neverrmind the fact that you drive a completely different car... (yupnope)

it doesnt matter u retard, my car is lower then both of the people i was talking to
so it doesnt really matter what car i drive as long as i know HOW to drive it and not scrape

Lol.

Easy there, Special Ed.

The lengths of your front and rear overhangs ABSOLUTELY matter with regard to how likely you are to scrape at any given ride height while approaching an incline.

If your overhang is longer, you're more likely to scrape at any given ride height than if your overhang is shorter.

Therefore, the type of car you drive DOES matter, genius. ;)

Maybe a diagram would help you grasp this concept (please forgive the crudeness as my MSPaint skills leave a bit to be desired):

If your overhang is longer at a given ride height (or ground clearance), you will be more likely to scrape when approaching inclines.

Oh thank you, I needed that laugh.
Diagrams, I love it.

What do I not understand here? You're the one arguing a point that makes no sense... (dunno)

I didn't draw the diagram to help myself understand anything. I already fully grasp the concept at hand.

Have I ever measured the two cars in question?

No, but if I had to guess, I'd guess that the P5 has a shorter overall front overhang than the MS3...

Regardless, the entire point of my initial post in this thread was to call attention to the fact that you can't use your experience in one car at a given "ground clearance" and automatically assume that every car with that same amount of ground clearance has an equal tendency to scrape upon approaching inclines, since different cars have different bumper shapes, contours, and overhang lengths.

I would post some pics, but i think youve seen enough BC pics. Ive got mine all the way down too. IMO best setup for the money. Ive always ran a lowering spring, and the coilover setup is far more superior in ride quality and lifespan of your suspension. Best investment ive made yet for this car

I'll have to co-sign on that. Best mod I've done to the car. I love my BCs.

I gotta tell you...The one sittin on H&R coilover's is the one I'm likin....I can't seem to get that car outta my head now

Well, thanks to all your guys' input....I think I am going to go with the BC Coilovers. I kinda wanted the H&R's but the BC's are more in my price range.
