I don't understand why people always say that "I won't be able to get into my drive way"

Hell, my front bumper sits about 3 to 4" off the ground and I could make it in the drive way ez.

If it's a driveway like mine, it's too narrow to take it at an angle. Even in the Miata, there is only a foot on either side, so too much angle and you're rolling off a six inch curb. (pissed)

Yeah I know what you mean about clearance on the angle the front isn't a problem but my rear will hit coz of the shape of the road. Mum's base model protege scrapes if it has a full tank of fuel

yup, shaved badges and wheels/lugs are the only mods so far. only been a few days! lots i'd like to do, but coilovers, tint, rear MM, and short shifter top the list.

what size are the mx5 wheels, and are you running the same size tire as you were on the msp?

yeah, same setup from the MSP. 17x7, 215/45, +49(with spacers). love the style of the MX-5s but the massive wheel gap makes them look a bit small. a drop should help that a lot...
