Ground off the sliders for my seats. The guy I bought them from had welded the sliders directly to the brackets for his Camaro (apparently they were too high when bolted together properly). Nothing a dremel, a cutting disk, a grinding wheel and some black paint couldn't fix. I didn't get a chance to check out the SAS module though. I think I am going to try to ground that particular pin to make it as if my car never had the side airbags so I cam remove the seats, the side airbags and the side airbag sensors all in one go and avoid any airbag lights (hopefully) This just seems to be the cleanest and best option in my opinion. I also checked the oil - not really low at all from last week but then again I did only drive it like 50 miles this past week. Now I just have to keep it clean for a few weeks for the big Midwest Mazda Fest.

I have been on a shopping spree

Picked up my new 03.5 Mazdaspeed RACING HART rims, and they look good with the tokico blue strut/spring combo. Am i the only one with that kit here? 215/45/17s

nope...i got the hp kit on too

hp kit= blues
The "kit" he is referring to is both the struts and springs.

The MSP wheels look good but I don't know why you went with 215/45/R17 tires - they're actually bigger than the stock wheels. 215/40R17 is the best match.

that's the kit i'm talking about too....

215/40 or 205/45( i got, cause my rims stick out a lil bit more)

the wheels came in that size already. and im not in a situation to where i can buy new tires at the moment. but so far, i have no rubbage. only at super cracks in the road i get a lil rub on the strut or sumthin. but i plan on going 215/40/17s

coool i guess im the second one with the kit then. its a pretty good kit tho.

Voting is up for all the P5s that entered in the MOTM for April...Just a heads up.

Also did the seafoam thing and changed oil.

Just got back in from checking out the spark plugs. All four looking pretty good as far as coloration and physical condition goes. However most were gapped at 0.032"+ with the largest being 0.036". Bear in mind I have the MSP turbo setup so the optimal gap is 0.028-0.032". Knocked the gap back down to around 0.031" so hopefully this will smooth some things out a little. The only problem is I don't want to drive the car because it's all nice and clean >.<
