How is the fading over time? This is the only thing I hate about carbon fiber is the fading and cracking!

I do 3 things to prevent fading over time.
1. use a UV stabilized resin
2. use a marine clear gel coat, in the composites world marine grade is about as tough as it come to weather protection
3. paint urethane clear on them

and a lot of it has to do with the ppl that have cf pieces... they tend to neglect it and not keep it protected with wax

oh!! trust me. i didnt even want to put this out there. but i have a general idea of a prestine lines and design for this specific wide body kit. and it doesnt even have to be CF . to make it cheaper to make would be better to have it made out of polyurethane or abs plastic. for starters. and if everyone likes it we will make a limited of 10 just to start off. teaser like. lol

but, i have had this idea for years. and i am glad i have come across bryan here. woot woot*

i have so much ideas , that it so simple . i dont know how other companies have looked past it. i know maybe the interest is not there !!!!... or they are afraid of risk, but it shouldn't take that much to make.
cost wise. just little tidbits . that would top of the car. you know?!!! anyways.


at leastwe are showin love here on this thread that , im sure other companies would love to contribute. but i believe and have faith in bryan. that hopefully it wouldnt be just all about the money. and more for the fun and project part of it. but it almost always comes down to time and money.

that should not be a problem . this i speak of its not over the top nor should it be hard to make. its subtle, you guys just wait and see. and hold on tight.

petz!, so you are the official donor for the msp division right? i had pmed bryan about your interest , so just letting you know and putting you down as the official msp donor.

and about the actual time of drop off would be the time when the actual groupbuy would begin. and it seems that this would be sometime close or soon.

but, this thread is just to have as much sign up to prove and show bryan the interest for the [protege community]. but for the actuall groupbuy. that would be when isport aka- bryan is an actual authorized vendor on the forum.
