time for tires any recommendations

07 Cx-7 Liquid Platinum
I have to purchase 4 new tires as the stock ones on my vehicle are worn out severely.
I am in and out of the car 8hrs a day so I need a tire that can hopefully last until the lease is over.

I am looking for a tire that can meet the following:

I sometimes do speed on the turnpike for short burst so I need a tire that is safe at high speeds
also a tire that can last hopefully longer then 31k miles

And a tire that performs great during rain and Snow provides excellent grip.
Tire must fit OEM Rim not sure if a low profile tire would look nice on this car with the stock rim I am considering all recommendations

please exclude any $200 tire and MR.PIRELLI please refrain from posting any reply’s to this post don’t need the sales pitch.
 
These are the tires I have on my CX-7 and Mazda 3.

Two winters on these tires so far and I love them. Dry traction is about the same as the Goodyears that came on the car. Wet road traction is unbelievable, amazing how they slice through the water like it's not even there. Winter traction is excellent as well. I believe them to have the best winter traction available in an all-season tire. Nokian isn't a very big name in the US, but they've made excellent tires for a long time.

Thanks for the info I looked at alot of reviews for this tire and have made my choice will be getting a pair of these. (rockon) Now I have one last question did you get the same size tire? someone told me I can go a little wider but wouldnt the tire rub with stock rim?

I have the factory size tire. You probably could go a little wider without rubbing, but it will effect handling if you put a tire on thats too wide for the rim.

Dude I went to the website all that comes up from Morrisville PA all the way to Newark NJ and down south as Ocean County NJ are all STS tire and auto center and nobody has these tires. So I tried seeking Yokohama Ht-S no luck with these either I am like a man on a mission.

KalTire has exclusive rights to Nokian tires in Canada. I'm not sure about the US.

If you go to 255/55/18 size tire there is a lot more selection/price competition. I dunno if they will let you turn it in from lease with that size though, as its technically the wrong size tire.

If you order from the lower 48 states, you can save a bundle by driving to a border state and picking the tires up at say a UPS store. Int3grity, are you in a Providence that you have to have the severe snow service emblem? The Nokian WR G2 SUV is one of the only all weather tires you will find that has it.

Int3grity do you have the tires on your car yet? How are you liking them? The ones you bought are the new 2nd generation so they should be even better then the ones I have.

Sorry guys did know that anyone responded to this thread as I did not receieved a notification in my email. Yes the tires are awesome listen I wont bs with you there's not alot of things in this day in age that you are proud of and excited to have and these tires do just that.

To those that look at price trust me on this one pay the price and get quality these are trully superb tires. You want a wow factor these tires do just that.
They are incredible they stick to the road unlike anything I have ever experience heck they even make more contact then my friends bf goodrich tires on his wrangler. And the ride seems to be more smooth and less bumpier. 80mph out on the turnpike in wet road conditions you can go in and out with no problem No hydroplane whats so ever NONE. Even launching the tires at dead stop red light TCS off. Vrated so they hold to higher speeds.

These should be the only tires you will ever need forget the competion Nokian raises the bar with these.

(2thumbs) Yeah, I remember the first time I drove in a hard rain with my Nokians. It's amazing how they slice through the water. Glad I could help.
