Any cigar smokers?

Thats a good brand. Which did you smoke? I like the seire R. But have enjoyed just about everything I have smoked from them.

crap cant remember which one, but i purchased some new ones today. will post tomorrow what they are.

I don't ever smoke with the ring on so I try to remember to put it in my pocket right away. Pretty much the only way I remember what I had.

yeah i did the same thing but i think i may have thrown it away, the one i have right is serie r and a romeo julieta reserva real 1875.

Nice. Was the r what you smoked before? I think you'll like it if you are getting into the full bodied. I think its rather full bodied, but has some really smooth flavors. They are a little high in price for a regular smoke for me though. The Limitada are nice but WAY too expensive. The 1875 is nice too. Its pretty smooth, but a bit more earthy than I like. Not into that as much.

no i smoked another one, comes in a light brown wrapper. smoked the r just now a little too full bodied but i enjoyed it. not an everyday smoke thats for sure.

take last comment back, smoked another serie and it was great. i think this is my favorite now.

Had a nice smoke yesterday. Got a Camacho Triple Maduro. Its classed as a full-body but it was very smooth. Draw was a little loose at first but worked out perfect. Great smoke. I had the 6 by 60. If you choose that one settle in for a while. A little more expensive than I like to go but was worth it. Worth checking out.

I think all my cigars are dead. . the wife put my small humidor in a cabinet in our kitchen all winter. out of sight, out of mind. I lit one up about a month ago when it was decent out, and it was really dry. I don't think they are salvageable. :(

You might be surprised. If moisture can escape a cigar it can also be replaced. I have revived cigars with good success. Worth a shot.

wow, just saw this thread today...didn't realize there were so many cigar enthusiasts on this site......i'm fairly new to cigars and have smoked a few...off the top of my head i can't remember but do have the rings stashed somewhere, will have to pull them out later. i currently have two cigars left..

one is an A. Fuente, Flor Fina.....just getting this off the wrapper....bought in vegas from Casa Fuente in the forum shops at cesar's palace

other one is a Romeo y Juliet, Cedros Deluxe No. 1

have yet to try both. questions for the more seasoned pro's...i currently don't have a humidor but keep whatever i get in a sealed plastic baggie with a "water pillow" moisture pouch. it seems to have worked pretty good thusfar but putting cigars even in a humidor for that matter........should the cigars be taken out of the plastic wrappers when placing in humidors or my baggie or is it better to leave them in the plastic.....i have bought cigars w/out the wrapper and placed those in there as well........

also, what is your drink of choice when smoking a cigar?

Both nice cigars.

If you are not storing your cigars for much time the baggie is fine. You can also use a tupperware box. As for the cello...it is only there to protect the wrapper. For a cigar to age properly it needs to be out of the cello. But again thats if you plan to keep them around long enough. Otherwise its fine to leave them on. If you are going to be taking the cigar with you somewhere I say leave it on to protect it.

Different cigars call for different beverages. Wine, beer, tequila, rum, scotch all make the list for me.

Hmmm, right now in my humi I am rocking a few different ACIDS, a few random Padrons and CAO's, an aged Stradivarius Robusto Major that Im waiting to smoke this summer, a Gurkha Park Avenue, and a box of Saint Luis Rey's straight from Cuba (keep that on the hush hush ;) )
