What have you hauled with your CX-9?

New(ish) wheels and tires for the wife's Civic. They're replacing the 8+ year old Michelin Premier tires on rusty steel wheels.

    Show me your CX-5 wheels

And that line varies from person to person. All that really matters is whether you, as the owner, like it or not. I probably get a lot of head shakes from other CX-9 or mid-size SUV drivers, as well as other car enthusiasts, about my wheel fitment and how aggressive it might be to them lol

Mazda Connect Firmware 74.00.230A (now .324A)

Hi @pappyb and @Pearlcx5, yes ASH8 has stepped away from the forum for a while, though I can assure you that it isn't due to any competition or feud with another forum or social media platform. Thanks for confirming that he remains active on that CX-3 forum. I'll update the original post to...

Grounding Cylinder Head Test Results (2024 CX-5 Turbo)

Thanks for understanding @AL Cx5. Note that this wasn't even a "warning", just a bit of a reminder. I can understand your frustration and I know you're a fairly new member - I myself am fairly new to moderating so I appreciate the kind words. And I apologize for using the term "snake oil", I...

    Show me your CX-5 wheels

Nice, they look very similar in style to the alternate wheels Mazda offered for the CX-9 (MO18 I think). Bet these ones cost less and weigh less though! And these have a more aggressive fitment at +35mm.

Grounding Cylinder Head Test Results (2024 CX-5 Turbo)

Let's remember that we're here to share information and learn about our cars together. I know it can't always be sunshine and kumbaya around the campfire, but we should encourage each other when possible. There's nothing wrong with asking questions. (y)

Suspension sounds after lowering spring install (2023 CX-5)

Did a shop install your springs and camber arms? Sounds most likely to be related to the camber arms since it's coming from the rear only, but that's just a guess. Are you able to get the rear up on ramps to check that everything is torqued to spec and installed correctly according to...

    Security light flashing and car won't start...Stranded (2009 CX-9)

Replace the keyfob battery and try again. Its a minor step but easy to eliminate. Does it crank at all?

CX-5 Premium Plus Engine leaking oil

Going back to pages 2 and 3 of this thread, the banned user implied that one of the other posters was a bot, simply for providing their own experience and opinion on the subject. In the posts that followed, they doubled down on calling the poster a bot, and admin posted a warning to them. They...

CX-5 Premium Plus Engine leaking oil

I won't speak for @Antoine, but after re-reading their last posts, I agree that they were trolling. I can understand being frustrated at having to deal with such an issue, but belittling other members and their opinions, making comparisons to communist behaviour, and writing an inflammatory post...

CX-90 PHEV: Looking for lease numbers / deals

Agree with @Ninja_Matt, to get a clear picture of whether it would be worth it, you'd need to find out exactly what the maintenance plan covers/includes, and compare it with your projected mileage in that time. For example, if you're not planning to drive more than 10k mi/year, according to the...

Grounding Cylinder Head Test Results (2024 CX-5 Turbo)

I mean, either it works or it doesn't. It would be great to know how it could work and why it works on some cars and not others, but this is a fairly low cost modification to implement. Could be "snake oil", but its not in the same vein of things like electronic rust prevention modules. As far...

2.5 NA Cracked Cylinder Head with Oil leaking...How common is this?

It just seems more common on the CX-5 because so many of them were sold, many more than all of the other models.
